By: Jim | October 22nd, 2006It’s hard to find a less impressive performance from Liverpool in recent memory other than what they showed today at Old Trafford. Disgusting showing if you ask me.
Nothing was coherent on this afternoon. The defense was disjointed, the midfield work looked the same and no passes in the final third found their mark. Just atrocious.
Does Luis Garcia have pictures of Rafa in compromising positions? Why did he remain on the pitch? Gonzalez was the one attacking threat who showed some promise and he gave way for Pennant, which changed nothing. Just a gross display from Liverpool today. Not the type of match called for against the biggest rivals in English football.

Maybe Rafa should start going with a consistent line-up and using different players only as needed.
