Thanks, old friend.

Only caught the last twenty minutes or so, but Fulham were able to shut down United’s attack and notch a couple of their own through Danny Murphy’s penalty (after another Scholes special-see below) and Zoltan Gera. Wayne Rooney was sent off and threw a nice little temper tantrum, so, bonus. At the present moment, Tottenham are up 1-0 to Chelsea with 24 to play. Game on?

Yeah, I just have a feeling that this is going to really wake them up. I hope not though.

Just like that loss to Liverpool woke them up.

Ed, I’m not trying to be petty or anything. You know from my comments and my match report last weekend that I totally thought you guys deserved to win.
But it’s just because of some of the idiotic comments we got over at our blog from some ‘Pool fans that pisses me off.
It seems like a case that you guys have had so little to cheer about for SO long (domestically, that is) that one win for you against us and another defeat for us makes some of you fans celebrate like you’ve won the league, and in an obnoxious fashion.
Note though, that I’m not referring to you Ed, or Steven (from Big4Blog), who’s been nothing but funny and amicable.

I hope my Rooney question wasn’t taken with too much offense.

No, not at all. I actually agree with you on that comment.

I’m enjoying it, glad you haven’t taken offense Wayne. I’ll agree that the mindless trolling is a little less than impressive. Plus it’s easier to take up 5-0 right now.

But sure, it’s all part of the game. All is fair in love and football. As much as I hate to admit it, I’m starting to feel that it’s edging your way now with the momentum.
But I still have to believe, and I do. If we don’t beat Aston Villa when they come to Old Trafford, however, it’s gonna be very difficult.

Scholes looks like he belongs in the NBA.

Except for that whole 5′7″ thing…

Doesn’t the picture above remind you of a certain number 23 in the NBA…..? Legs apart in mid-flight, taking off from the penalty spot to slam the ball on the goalie’s head…
