did Crouch get subbed for Kuyt so he could rest for the midweek England game? to help save him for Chelsea? or because Rafa was embarrassed that he scored one & set one up?
the big english man made the little spanish man look kinda silly ..

The truth is that some plyers lack confidence., and in the first half that seemed especially true. Once the first goal was scored you could see it coming back.
However, luck plays an important part in football and yesterday we got it in buckets with 2 pens denied and a dangerous freekick hit by a Jonny Wilkinson wannabe.

I have supported the mighty reds >30 years and I was absolutely astonished at the so called “team’s” first half inadequacie. PASS and MOVE is the Liverpool way – or was…..We are so far behind the scum, the arse and that other London lot insofar as teamwork and penetrative football is concerned, that it deeply saddens me. Thank God for the Liverpoolfc.tv channel…..At least I can watch and relive the good ‘ole days when if a team scored against us first it was a deathwish – esp. at Anfield. “Rafa!…..sort your life out”
