I mentioned it in the previous post…to me it doesn’t seem like anything worth dragging out. Who knows what Rafa meant with his hand gestures at that point, or at any point. Who’s to say he wasn’t marveling at Torres’ skill or chuckling at a topless woman in the Anfield Road end? I think taking it straight to the media wasn’t the classiest move, particularly if what Sammy Lee says is true and Big Sam didn’t mention it to him in the post-game drink. As for Fergie’s involvement, I don’t think there’s any place for it…but it’s certainly calculated and unsurprising, as is his praise of Wenger as the finest manager in the galaxy. Say what you want, but the man has good timing. In the end though, mountains out of mole hills.
