New Torres Nike Ad
By: CSD | June 3rd, 2008This ad shows Liverpool fans trying to be more accustomed with Spain and Spanish to make Torres feel at home. If the Kop starts singing the Torres song in Spanish next season, we’ll know that the marketing is effective. I, for one, will definitely be cheering for Spain in the Euro.

This ad is fantastic. It’s just one of a couple quality adverts done by Nike over the last couple of months.

Hi guys,
Any chance you can change the link to a non-s*n one?
Cheers

CSD, what Colin’s saying is that your link is to the sun (more appropriately the s*n). Liverpool FC and its supporters have boycotted the S*n since the Hillsborough tragedy in 1989. Linking to the S*n will get you banned from most LFC forums out there. Just 4 days after 96 of our supporters died, they had the audacity to put this on their front page:
“The Truth.
Some fans picked pockets of victims
Some fans urinated on the brave cops
Some fans beat up PC giving kiss of life.”All of which were complete lies. Here’s a pretty good rundown on the reasons for the boycott: http://forums.lfconline.com/showthread.php?t=42820

Thanks for clearing that up. Something that newer fans should definitely be aware of.
