Mascherano cleared
By: Brian | February 20th, 2007Well, it took long enough, but Javier Mascherano is officially part of LFC, apparently on loan from West Ham United for 18 months, though nothing as been confirmed. He will be eligible to play tomorrow, but I think that’s doubtful despite the fact that he’s been training with the team for a couple of weeks now. Could this be the end of Bolo Zenden? Sure, Bolo is considered more of an all-round player and Mascherano is basically a defensive specialist, but the way Zenden has been shooting and passing lately…
I was also just checking out our official Champion’s League squad and found it quite interesting to see Harry Kewell on that list. Maybe he’s in Rafa’s plans this year after all.
