After being broken on the rack and threatened with castration, Portsmouth manager, Harry Redknapp has admitted to wanting to bring Peter Crouch back to Pompey.
“I like Crouchie and I would take him any day of the week.”
And twice on Sunday Harry… twice on Sunday. Just when you think your team, whether it be England or Liverpool, is out, Crouchie comes in and does something amazing. I think Benitez is crazy for not playing him more. So sorry, you can’t have him, but can I interest you in a Kuyt or possibly a Voronin?

It has to be one or the other – he should go or play more. Not in between.
I for one would prefer to see him go and take on a more dynamic frontline partner for Torres. Neither Voronin or Kuyt are that, though they both work very hard.

Something needs changing, and fast. Watching Kuyt’s horrible first touch and shot after Gerrard played him into space was embarrassing, to say the least. Voronin has been poor the past few months, and Crouch is a rare sight. He has been inspirational at times, but overall he has not been wildly impressive. Torres was absent last night, and Gerrard was too deep to make much of an impact. New striker with better pace and skill needed now!

i think Dirk should go back to building windmills or wearing clogs .. he’s just not hacking it and should get the axe ASAP .. Voronin too .. cut the hair man!
