‘If he dies, he dies’
By: Jim | January 15th, 2007
With Liverpool getting stick left and right last week for the Arsenal debacles, I thought I’d have some fun at the master of cinema’s left-right combo, Sly Stallone. “Rocky” went to Goodison Park and declared himself an Everton fan after watching the Toffees draw with Reading 1-1. Stallone also declared Reading’s goal “offside, or whatever”, so he’ll fit right in over there.
Clicking the link is really worth reading the brief, transcribed interview he gave to a reporter. It’s great stuff. Even at age 60, Sly is sharp as ever with the adoring press.
And I had always wondered why, after entering adulthood, I suddenly felt a twinge of sympathy for Ivan Drago. Well, now I know.
