Hicks to DIC: F*ck Off

Here’s more owner news that you could probably care less about. Tom Hicks has terminated all talks with DIC regarding their bid to purchase a stake in LFC. Why? Well, Hicks wants to retain control of the club and DIC want to find sneaky ways of taking it. They’d like it to be run by a committee even if Hicks were to buy 1% from Gillette, making his stake a majority.

So for now, we’re stuck with the same knuckleheads we’ve had for the past year with no end in sight. It’s a shame Hicks and DIC make their way into the news more than the club’s next match. I think we’re playing someone in Italy.

  i think this is just a ploy by hicks. he is pissed that the “negotiator” leaked the information about the talks and he showed them that he still has power. the deal has to be done or he will have to sell one of his other teams to financ Liverpool. look for it to be done by next week. Liverpool scores first today 1-1 is the final.

  Hicks will sell up eventually, I’m sure of it. He’s just holding out for as much as possible from DIC and he has little chance of staying in charge with Gillett definitely going to sell his stake as soon as he can. DIC have made it clear they’re not going to give in on buying the club and a deal will be done eventually but, frustratingly, it might not happen until the summer. Lets just hope we have another CL win to celebrate by then!

  hicks is a prick he is holding on for more money and he has no interest in the passion of the club . lets hope he will sell soon the fans ate him . at the end of the day its a football club not a money making scheme
