If for nothing more than confidence’s sake, it would have been awfully nice to crawl up to 3rd spot in the table. The title’s gone, barring the greatest collapse of all time, but it’s important to get into that easy Champion’s League qualifying spot.
Nil-Nil, with Pompey playing defensively and for a draw all day, is no fun. Well, they have to suck it up for Boro.
Meanwhile, check out this Guardian piece about the great goals to be found on YouTube. The writer’s offerings are tasty, but the commenters chip in with some real treasures. An excellent time-killer.
