Andriy Voronin coming this summer

The Bayer Leverkusen striker’s agent has confirmed that his client has agreed to a four-year deal. Okay, not the big signing I was hoping for, but then again, it’s February 19th. Actually, I was sort of confused about it until the blog Oh, You Beauty… filled me in. Apparently, Voronin is considered a ’supersub’ of sorts, and can play left wing. With Robbie Fowler more than likely out of the picture this summer, it makes complete sense.

As for these allegations about mischevious behavior, all you need to do is read this and this. No surprise that a paper associated with the Sun is pushing this story.

  I addressed the alleged incidents in the last paragraph. I’m not into tabloids unless they are reporting a new crop of alien babies, sorry. I like to concentrate on football.
