Anderson to be loaned out

By: Brian | July 6th, 2007

While still awaiting to see who will be the lucky winner in the Adam Hammill loan sweepstakes, it looks as if another young, promising midfielder will be sent out on loan. Paul Anderson is likely headed to League One side Swansea City. This is sort of surprising, though not really, as Rafa has praised the soon-to-be 19 year old winger as a possible future first teamer for us. He played on the 2006 FA Youth Cup winning squad and is under contract with us until 2010. He has also played for the England U19 squad four times, netting in a tie against Austria, though he was not called up this past May for the U19 Euro. I guess I’ll be catching Swans matches when I can.
