One more thing…both of you moderators think that Liverpool will not Lose a Home game. I don’t believe it!There will be some upsets as always. I think Liverpool will lose 2 to 3 home games, and they will lose to Chelsea in both encounters. Did Liverpool lose any Home Games last season?
In the end, Chelsea will win the Premiership, and the Champions League. But I love Liverpool, and I think you will be 4th, as always, and lose in the quater-final in the Champions League. I still love Liverpool, and I think you guys rightly stole Torres. But it’s a good thing since it creates a balance of power between the great clubs of Europe. Can you guys believe the Champions League against Milan, when you came back from a 3:0 deficit after haltime.It was even reported that Milan was celebrating with Champaign in their locker-rooms. That was a classic unfathomable final!

@ JRW:What do you think about Ryan Babel???I know he can make a huge impact as a substitute, as he did last year, but can he be a consistent starter this season playing an important role for the team.

Forgive me for (perhaps) showing a bit of ignorance here, but should I be frustrated that Liverpool has yet to do anything on the transfer market? Or is this more par for the course? My following of LFC is admittedly limited, but it certainly seems like adding one more quality player to the top 11 — be it a midfielder (Barry) or someone up front (Villa) — is needed to close the gap between Liverpool and the other top three clubs.

I guess I’m just asking for some perspective… is it common for teams to add players in August, just weeks before the season starts, or does most of the activity (for this transfer window) usually take place in July?
