Royston Drenthe is a punk
By: Brian | August 6th, 2007What a dumb ass. I don’t know if it was short man’s syndrome or what, but some of his tackles were a bit reckless. He should have been at least yellow carded for the ‘tackle’ on Gerrard when he planted his spikes in Stevie-G’s ankle. It was a preseason friendly and he was playing like it was the Champion’s League final. Anyhow, here’s the video of the incident:
And yes, Stevie-G did punch one of those punks in the face, which he might get reprimanded for. No worries, we have Xabi if our captain has to sit out a few matches. I wish Danny Agger would have finished off Drenthe after Masche took him out.

A game without fouls don’t really is a game.. just like real life nothing is like it seems.. So what friendly.. It was a match.. winners or losers.. witch site you prefer!!

The ref was definitely a homer. The Kuyt goal, the penalty, and us getting more cards when they were without a doubt the more physical side. It was ridiculous.
