Liverpool midfield & Defend find it hard to pass to a front player, off the ball run is poor within the unit. He's been pretty solid in Agger's absence. He's not supposed to be on the pitch during this game. We wouldn't be able to get a CB of Cara-Agger's class that would be comfortable to sit on the bench for most of the games. But I will agree that this inconsistency is becoming troubling. However, this loss wouldn't be as troubling if we had dispatched Reading and not had those horrible draws earlier in the season. Let’s not pile on Hyypia. He’s been pretty solid in Agger’s absence. Hyypia is an own-goal machine. Riise kicks too hard. Kuyt doesn't score. Benayoun plays well.. sometimes. It's inconsistency that is the Liverpool problem. What's most upsetting about a game like this is that it seems to come from utd. every year. That injury time header from Ferdinand sprung to mind as soon as I saw the Tevez goal. Before the season started I wouldn't dare think to sell players like Hyypia, Riise, or Even Sissoko, but they just don't have the quality to take us to where we need to be...top of the table. I think we need to sell them now while we can still get some money for them, and buy big in January.
