Why England fans are really hating on Stevie-G

I just read this post here and couldn’t help laughing about how true it is. Oh, and everybody loves Sven now too. I’m an England fan as well so nothing really surprises me anymore.

  So true. No offence to England fans but Gerrard’s wages are paid by Liverpool, whilst England are playing a pointless friendly which could potentially aggravate his injury. Its refreshing to see Stevie put club before country, as we for too long experienced Michael “The Mercenary” Owen and his “ill be back for England” insistances, whilst neglecting the club that paid his wages (also true with Newcastle recently).
