The Italians must be the most hard-headed people that walk the face of this earth. Juventus has been inquiring about his services for years, and now, Inter Milan has entered the fray. Allegedly, Inter is willing to offer £35 million for our skipper. A flattering price, but I don’t think we’d even think about selling him if someone were to put £50 million on the table. It’s not about the money. He didn’t leave us when he could have and it’ll be a cold day in hell before he’s sold.
