Kewell to Olympiakos?!

Say it ain’t so Rafa. King Harry, what the?! Apparently (my favorite word), Kewell has a buyout clause in his contract for £1.5m that the Greeks are thinking about paying to bring him to their squad. This would be devastating to… me.

Just earlier today I was thinking about how Kewell was going to be our starter on the left until we can get the new kid familiarized with everything. I’m hoping that this is just one of those crazy rumors or I’m having a nightmare. I’ll have more on this later.

  I think it’s highly unlikely that he actually has a clause that low in his contract. And if he does, I think it’s also pretty unlikely he’ll want to go to Turkey.

  Parmesh, it’s Greece, not Turkey. I used to date a Greek girl and her father would have punched me if I confused the two.

  Yeah, I agree, that does seem a bit low and with all we’ve invested in him, I can’t see us letting him go for less than £5m.
