This was supposed to be the year we won the league or at least challenged seriously. Now we're fighting for a champions league spot - with everton, Man city and Villa - truly embarrasing. Liverpool were mostly in poor form against Luton until Babel's extra time strike. Hopefully six days off will calm poor form. One tactical thought: Villa's defenders like to go forward and perhaps Torres will be equal to the penchant for Pepe to clear it long early in matches. That said, welcome, and Go Reds! Welcome CSD, and while I agree this is an important match, the same has been said about the last dozen+ matches.

Liverpool were mostly in poor form against Luton until Babel’s extra time strike. Hopefully six days off will calm poor form.

One tactical thought: Villa’s defenders like to go forward and perhaps Torres will be equal to the penchant for Pepe to clear it long early in matches.

Hicks seems to be the real problem. It'll be interesting to see if that partnership dissolves and I think we'll be finding that out within the next week or two.
