By: Brian | August 23rd, 2007Dirk Kuyt is set up by fellow Red, Ryan Babel, on a cross, as he scores the only goal for Holland in their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Switzerland. The goal is about 2 minutes into this video. Cheers.

Well theres no surprise really that dirk kuyt was the only LFC player to score an international goal last nite as he was clearly the only LFC forward on international duty last nite that had a semi decent set of players behind him. I give you Peter Crouch…backed by a barely half strength England team and facing a pretty decent opposition. I propose this for the england team…remove any player from Man Utd and Chelsea that calls himself an international…not only then do you have no team but you also stand a chance of finding a real team using those players who earn their money by playing for the love of the game instead of the love of the fat paycheck.

ere Brian this news will probably take as much time to reach you as you are behind UK time.
Here are some reasons why Liverpool wont win the title with Benitez in charge. First he is spanish, second he plays Gerrard against Chelsea, then Gerrard pulls out of the England squad cos of a broken toe aka as Lampard and Terry syndromes eh mm they both played last night and Frank scored and NOW news has broken that Gerrard wont play at the weekend cos of his…………………… broken toe there fore equals piss take by your TINKERMAN over 100 players used by him last season and now ickle Stevie Gerrard is well enough to take on the might of Roy Keane and Sunderland now that smacks of DISRESPECT and you wonder why I hate Liverpool so much?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Andy, what are you talking about? Mourinho changes his line-up just as often as Benitez. Don’t believe me? Go here:
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/archivedirs/news/2007/aug/8/NG156624070808-1304.htmFatty Lampard scored his goal and then was the invisible man. Way to go.
And Gerrard will not play this Saturday against Sunderland, which either way has nothing to do with ‘disrespect’ for Roy Keane. Where do you get this stuff? At your local pub? I didn’t know mental wards had pubs.
You hate Liverpool because your club will never be mentioned in the same breathe. It’s called envy.

LOL envy from a yank in the US who has no clue about respect. Gerrard played against us cos he kenw he had to. He decided NOT to play against Germany because of his ‘ickle’ toe and now he can’t or won’t play against Sunderland which shows a sincere lack of respect for Roy Keane who was a far far far better player than Gerrard would ever be and now it looks like ickle Stevie Gerrard will miss ur CL game next week too!!!
Envy no way pal, even if I lived 6,000 miles away I would have and show more respect. Paella man and ickle are showing no respect to a newbie manager and his team and I REALLY hope that Sunderland do the job!!!
The US doesn’t understand football and the Premiership and thats why you call it SOOOOOOOOOOOOCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Benitez rotating is one of those “accepted truths” of the English press, right up there with “tall people all have poor ball control in their genes so we have to make sure we say ‘he’s got good control for a tall guy’ whenever talking about Crouch.” Lie enough and the lie becomes a truth, I believe the saying goes.
So Rafa won’t win the league because he’s Spanish? I’m sure he’s cursing his luck at not being born two hudred miles to the west, because obviously the Portuguese gene pool has got the “win the Prem” gene that the Spaniards so sorely lack. It’s probably because those English sailors spent so much time impregnating bar wenches in Porto and Lisbon.

Andy, you are mental. To get respect, you have to be capable of reciprocating, something you’ve never shown to be able to do.
Steven Gerrard has a broken toe and I’m pretty sure Keano is glad that he won’t have to face our skipper on Saturday. All this crap about respect is moronic.
Soccer is a word invented by the English, if you knew your football history, you’d know that. Go spew your bullshit somewhere else. 18 and 5 (envy).

Hey guys, thought I’d show my presence on here as to not show bias towards one blog or team.
I love the comment about having to say ‘he’s got a lovely touch for a tall lad’. They always say that don’t they? At the end of the day, he wouldn’t be a professional footballer if was just a 7 foot bloke who fancied a kick around.
Liverpool fans, I desperately need comments on your kits at http://www.worldfootballshirts.net. We rely on bloggers and fans for our site to survive.
Thanks, and keep up the banter!
