Giorgio Chiellini video
By: Brian | July 16th, 2007Twenty-three-years old and he already has a highlight video. Those Italians certainly love their kids. About three minutes in, he gets kicked in the head. He seems pretty good, has some size to him, and knows how to use his head. Would be a great pairing with Agger in the middle. Let’s sign him AND Jorge Fucile, then we don’t have to worry about defensive issues for a long, long time. Or until Carra and Finnan retire.

He is great, but he wont play in the middle, he loves to run up to line, he is best as a left back.

Corey, he’ll have to play in the middle some if he wants to get on the pitch. He did so a lot for Juventus last year. If he can get back, Rafa has no problem with his defenders going forward or even running schemes where he would be allowed to go down on the left and the left back would stay back and cover.
kes, yes, I agree, I think he has all the tools to make it in the EPL and we should try to persuade him to come on board. Whether that’s reality or not, who knows?

He will play in the center if needed, and since Juve have Jean Alain Boumsong, its needed. But he is most comfortable out wide, and you will get the best out of him there. Dont ever expect to see him in a Azzurri shirt as a center back

Will it hurt his call-up chances if he leaves Italy?

good luck trying to get him. Juventus is like his family, why would he leave?
Those weren’t even his best goals. Where o where was the goal against Spain?

Well, Marcello, we’ve asked his agent how he feels about Liverpool since he has voiced his frustration with Juve about how he’s being ‘disrespected’ and Chiellini has been positive about a move to Anfield. Apparently, and this is a very apparently, Juve are willing to let him go for £7m and we have apparently offered £5m.
I honestly don’t think it’ll happen for many reasons, primarily because I think neither player nor team want to part ways. If he comes to Liverpool though, I definitely think he has what it takes to be a legend.
