Adios
By: Brian | September 4th, 2007Well it’s been fun, but I’ve decided to move on and do my own thing. Thanks to everyone who made these last seven months and 400 some odd posts a great learning experience. A special thanks to Bob for letting me take over the Liverpool Offside, it’s truly been an honor to represent my club on such a class site.
As for the rest of my fellow Offsiders, I know I haven’t been the nicest person at times and I apologize if I ever offended anyone. Sometimes I tend to forget it’s only football, especially with all the recent tragedies, but it’s hard not to get caught up in the drama that is the world’s greatest game. To Sam, Inara, Ian, Ian Rose, Martha, Nick, Trent, Adam, and anyone else I forgot, thanks, it’s been a pleasure and a privilege to contribute to the site alongside fans that share such a passion for not only their clubs and countries, but for the game itself. Keep up the good work and I’ll be around looking to learn new things outside of my Liverpool/EPL isolation booth.
Cheers.
P.S. To the Harry Kewell contingency, you’ve got to be kidding me. If you can’t tell that I have an unhealthy affection for King Harry, well, I can’t do anything more to prove that he’s one of my favorite players on the squad and you’re just too damn narrow-minded or lazy to take the time to realize that.
P.S.S. If anyone wants to take over this blog, let Bob know.

Brian,
I’ll miss you! I could always rely on you for good spirited discussions, and if we’ve ever butted heads on Harry Kewell, know that I have lots of admiration of Liverpool and your dedication to them. Thanks for posting your new blog link, I’ll be sure to check it out when I need more Liverpool info, and hope we still see you around the Offside sometimes!

Thanks, Inara, you and Sam have done an awesome job in turning me onto the world of French/Ligue 1/Lyon football and I’ll definitely continue to be an avid reader of your guys’ posts. Especially your in-depth match reviews, which are easily some of the best around… especially when Lyon win.

Best of luck Brian. I’ll catch up with you when the Reds and Celts square off in the CL quarters in the spring. No, seriously. Liverpool will be there too.

It is a huge relief that you will post in another blog, but come on, the colors are terrible there. Don’t get me wrong, I love red, but the black/red combo is definitely not a userfriendly one (and still it’s more in AC Milan than LFC style)

Thanks for everything, Brian!
I only discovered this site a couple of months ago, but i’ve been a daily viewer ever since. Without a doubt it has been the best place on the web to come for LFC news!
Thanks, and all the best.
