A lot of people put Carragher up as someone who’s Liverpool FC through and through but I’ve also read that he was an Everton fan as a boy. This is probably true and not really of consequence any more but I also read that the reason he wears long-sleeves all the time is that…

…he has an Everton crest tattooed on his arm.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

  It’s definitely a rumor. When you said that I was so outraged but, someone showed me an interview on UEFA where he says he doesn’t have an everton tattoo.

  no he does not have everton tattoo on his arm….& i have seen him wear half sleeve during the games also…..

  Carragher isnt the only Liverpool local lad turned legend who supported Everton as a boy, there is quite a few on that list:

  Robbie ‘God’ Fowler and Steve ‘Macca’ McManaman are just two I can remember from recent times and I wouldnt be surprised to find out that the best box to box midfielder in the world Stevie G was a Evertonian as a boy aswell, but i dont know where his allegiance lay.
