Steven Gerrard Named England Captain

It’s nice to see that the rumor mill gets one right now and then. Fabio Capello has stated that Steven Gerrard will lead England out as captain for the match against Switzerland.

  Good for him, but the club really needs him this weekend. Wouldn’t mind him missing a meaningless game against the Swiss.

  gerrard has deserved the captains armband for years and while he is captain he will always give that little extra.
