A much favorable schedule this year than last though playing Chelsea at home with two days rest is a bit much, especially considering they’ll have an extra day. The Man U (away), Everton (home), and Arsenal (away) run will be tough as well and ending the season playing 11 of 20 on the road kind of sucks, but it just means we need to take advantage of playing 10 of our first 18 at Anfield. Our fourth match, Sunderland (away), should be a good test at where each of our clubs stand.

I wonder if putting the first 10 of 18 at home is a gift due to last year’s big stumble out of the blocks. Maybe the EPL is looking for a little more competition up top. Conspiracy theory?

Last year’s schedule was just ridiculous, but fear not, we’ll find away to fuck up early next season and be out of the race by probably January if not earlier.

I really enjoy this schedule. Playing 11 of 20 away to end it off is a pain, especially if we are still in the hunt when that stretch begins, but it’s manageable.
