What Mascherano does…
By: Brian | April 3rd, 2007He annoys and pesters our opponents. He’d probably slide into a brick wall if that would help the team. He’s our other one man wrecking crew, who’s quickly became a fan favorite. Do we have a song for him yet? Here’s a video of some of the things he did against Arsenal:

He’s not afraid to commit fully to a challenge and stick the boot in, not something we normally associate with Argentinian players. However, he does appear to go to ground a fair amount and while his timing is fantastic if he mis-times anything, or gets a touchy ref, he could find himself in trouble. Overall I like him and look forward to seeing him develop at L’pool.

I still can’t believe he’s playing reserve at West Ham, I guess it all comes down to the way coaches handle their players.

I am so glad to see Mascherano at Liverpool. He’s always struck me as a quality player, and I was worried his talent would disappear under the ineptitude of West Ham’s management.

I also forgot to add that he’s a good passer. His skills pretty much make him the new Didi.
