In less than 24 hours…

…the EPL schedule will be revealed. Last year I was wholly disappointed when we received the most difficult schedule of the big four. In our first 12 matches last year, half were on the road, which is expected right? Well five of those matches were Goodison Park, Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford, Emirates, and the Reebok. Ridiculous. I knew once I saw the schedule that it was going to take a miracle run for us to still be in the race after twelve matches.

Did I also mention that we drew possibly the hardest third round qualifying Champions League opponent in Maccabi Haffi? And that we had to go to PSV Eindhoven during that stretch as well? Just one of the many aspects to our luck forsaken season last year.

Hopefully we’ll get some sort of break tomorrow.

Last time I checked, all teams play the same teams home and away. When they appear on the schedule is completely irrelevant.

It is much more difficult to win your five hardest away games among your first twelve then if they were spread out even among your first thirteen, let alone thirty-eight. Give me the first twelve matches among the bottom twelve clubs, build a lead in the points race and then you can play each match with a different strategy since they’re all not must wins. Simple logic.

I have to agree with Brian. Three or four hard away matches back-to-back make each one harder. A big start has proven to be very important in the EPL the last few years.

So it’s all the schedulers fault Liverpool have yet to win a Premiership title? Give me a break…

Yeah, it’s the schedulers fault. Never said that, but nice try. Did Man U have to play it’s toughest 5 away games in the first 12 games? You are so narrow-minded, go post a video.

There are many disparaging remarks I could make about your efforts here, but I have too much respect for your efforts to do so (plus the respect you deserve as a fellow Offsider). It’s a shame that you yourself lack this.

I think what I did was called a ‘professional foul’. LOL. Yeah, take the high road.
