Let’s not bag Hull too much. Any team standing between us and Arsenal & ManUre is a good thing. The more the better! As long as we don’t stumble to them.

JC, you’ve got a point. Our past matches were from comebacks, but mostly from a goal deficit, which I feel, a team like LFC, shouldn’t have any difficulty either equalizing or clinching a winner. It’s different this time round, cuz we were down by 2 goals as early as first half, and not only did we fight back to even out the scoreline, but we attack till the very end…sorta like Arsenal, but more awesome…just my 2-cents on this

Great stuff! And poor Xabi. Hope he doesn’t get seriously injured with all these mofos lunging at him…
It’s good that Kuyt bagged the winner. We need other players to step up and make a difference when it comes to the crunch. We cannot keep looking to Captain Fantastic or El Nino to pull our arses out of the fire everytime!

Also, it’s really interesting to see how Rafa is using Xabi this season…he’s almost playing as an old-school sweeper because he’s dropping back with the center backs while the fullbacks come forward over the halfway line (it’s finally happened!) and Gerrard/Mascherano/Lucas venture forward. He’s the primary outlet out the back and sprays the ball around; in today’s game, he even ended up as a center back when Skrtel went off. With Mascherano back, it should be interesting to see if this still holds. ynwa

Good win, have to disagree with the “last seen during the 2006 FA Cup comment” though. Three times this year we’ve been down 1-0 only to win each fixture, first with Boro, then with ManU, then at Marseille in the CL, not to mention scoreless until the 84th at Sunderland. This team has relied on resilience to be tied on points at the top of the table. And how is Xabi a scapegoat?
