The Daily Diatribe: PSV Injury woes, Bellamy’s going nowhere, Arsene believes we’ll advance, & Poor Everton
By: Brian | April 2nd, 2007* Joining Alex on PSV’s injury list is Ivory Coast striker Arouna Kone, which for me, is a much better sign for us since they’ll miss his pace.
* Benitez turned down a £7m bid for Craig Bellamy from Aston Villa, which leads me to believe he’ll be here for at least another season. So kids, if you want to keep your job attack one of your co-workers with a golf club.
* Arsene Wenger offered his two cents regarding our upcoming CL clashes with PSV Eindhoven. Sounds to me like we could end up 0-0 after two legs and resort to PKs. Hope not.
* New stadium construction should begin sometime in May and oh, that sharing idea was squashed. I don’t think real fans of either side wanted it to begin with anyhow. Terrible idea.
