I’m glad the Brazilian and FC Barcelona defensive midfielder feels the need to advise Steven Gerrard about where he should be playing. Apparently, the most decorated club in English football history isn’t good enough. Stevie-G has won 9 cups (plus 2 Community/Charity Shields) while with LFC and only a Premiership title eludes him, but yes, he should move on to a ‘bigger’ European Club. Ridiculous.

Maybe Edmilson’s confused. Maybe he doesn’t understand that it’s just not the same to play for your hometown club in Brazil than it is in England. Then again, you really can’t compare Sao Paulo and Liverpool.
