Pennant is starting! So is Hyypia?

I’m pumped. Hopefully JP won’t have an off day and continue his recent emergence as a star. Hyypia starting his second game in a row after a questionable performance Saturday against Reading is kind of surprising. I hope Agger doesn’t kill himself making up for our lack of speed.

Paletta? Weird. Would like to see Jack Hobbs before him. Good to see Gerrard on the bench, hopefully his services will not be required. Sissoko and Alonso will have to be dominant in the middle as Kone will be playing for PSV. I look to see Pennant bringing the ball up a lot.

My prediction: Liverpool 1, PSV 2
