Rio-Antonio Mavuba

This here is Rio-Antonio Mavuba, who has a nasty history with Momo Sissoko from the UEFA Cup a few years back. He’s a midfielder for Bordeaux who somehow became a French international despite being born on a boat!. The Daily Post explains:

“Mavuba, a French international who curiously has no country of birth having been born on a boat as his parents fled the Angolan civil war 20 years earlier, is expected to start but doubts remain over Sissoko’s participation (against Bordeaux).”

Thus, the title of this post. I feel clever.
