Good omens from Harry Kewell

By: Brian | April 30th, 2007

I thought he’d only get about twenty minutes today and not be much of a factor, a couple of runs up and down the field, maybe a few touches, but apparently he’s in a lot better condition than I was led to believe. Kewell in fact played 35+ minutes and impressed many, including setting up the third goal, in our 3-1 win over Everton today. This is a tremendous sign and leads me to believe that King Harry might be on the bench as early as Tuesday, but will probably start next Saturday at Fulham. It would be brilliant and storybook if Kewell would come on against Chelsea and score a legendary goal. Anyhow, there’s more on Kewell and the reserves squad derby at the official site. Cheers.

Let’s hope he is able to come back AND stay healthy for a change.
