Eamon Dunphy is ‘fat and a clown’

By: Brian | March 7th, 2007

I don’t know what he was drinking here, delusional juice maybe? What game was he watching? No conviction in the second half? Liverpool had better execution and chances in the second half then they did in the first. He must have lost money on it or predicted a Barca blowout. My favorite has to be “Gerrard, found out tonight… a nothing player.” It’s almost comical. We all know how much of a Liverpool fan he is…

Totally and utterly amazed at this @#!hole! If Gerrard was Irish good god Dunphy would be goofing off every night.

In fact I was saddened by the comments of all the Irish pundits. Being of Irish extraction myself I was deeply embarrassed in particularly with Dunphy’s ridiculous statements.

All of the RTE team seem to have a boner against Liverpool! Apparently after the 2005 Champions League victory they were gutted.

Its extremely odd that the Irish would be so negative to Liverpool - Half of Ireland moved there and outside of Dublin, Liverpool has the largest amount of Irish migrants in Britain. Liverpool has also had some tremendous players from Ireland play for them.

I think that RTE’s pundits (though more entertaining than their BBC counterparts) are far more offensive. Hey Fox news is more entertaining than the BBC’s, but whats more credible?

The RTE crowd seem to get big wraps for ‘Calling it as they see it.” Yet, the BBC is constrained and cannot make Dunphy like statements because they’d get slaughtered if they called any Irish player or indeed the Irish international squad mediocore, overrated or useless.

Give me a boring Shearer over those arrogant twats anyday!

I have been in dublin for over four years now and i just can’t seem to get my head round this guy dunphy. I mean, who is this guy? I have never been fortunate enough to see him as a player, but he must have been as good if not better than Maradona or Pele, the way he knows so much about the beautiful game. This man has been on medication for years. He’s a laughing stock. Ireland aren’t Brazil or France and never will be. They’ve got to do with the best they have got. Get off that cloud your on mate and take a look at yourself in the mirror if u want a laugh.

These pundits are fantastic. Judging by some of the comments here, it’s you people that have no idea what you are talking about. Seamus Coogan for example made a beauty of a statement, ” Outside of Dublin, Liverpool has the greatest number of Irish migrants in Britain.” I could not stop laughing when I read that. Dublin is not in Britain you muppet, it’s the Irish Capital. Thats lilke saying, “outside Toronto, London has the highest number of Canadian migrants in England.” Irish football pundits are recongised as being the best in the World. They are as critical of the Irish team as they are about every other team. Unlike the British pundits who are too busy talking up their “mates”!

Dunphy has a right to express his opinion. You don’t like it? Tough!! Go watch the british pundits who have their script written for them by the clubs!
