Great result!Ser Benitez 8 vs ‘experts’0…I was happy for the result not just for the team and some players(Yossi,Crouch were awesome-Mashcerano,Gerrard,Arbeloa played good also)but mostly for BENITEZ.He had a lot of critisim the last weeks but he proved that he knows what he is doing.I dont get carried away from the win because besiktas is no where near premier league standard-and this is the way we must beat this kind of teams BLOW THEM AWAY and respect us!We still need time but trust Benitez he knows better whats good for the team….its going to be hard but we went through harder times….

A fantastic result for Liverpool yesterday. I posted an article about the importance of Javier Mascherano to the Liverpool team. He averages 7.3 tackles per game and 52 passes per game in a league in which midfielders average 2.8 tackles per game and 37 passes per game.
