LIVERPOOL ENGLAND - OCTOBER 15: Anfield the home of Liverpool Football Club looms above terraced houses on October 15 2010 in Liverpool England. The future ownership of the famous football club had been subject to legal injunctions in the UK and USA after an attempt by the clubs owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks to prevent the sale to the American sports company NESV. The injunction has now been lifted in the US but only to allow a possible sale to US hedge fund Mill Financial. (Photo by Christopher Furlong/Getty Images)
With his squad in full back in training and working towards match fitness, Brendan Rodgers has the opportunity to select a very strong eleven tonight save for the slightly injured Joe Cole. "It's not as serious as first thought but he will probably miss out the Gomel game and be fit and ready a couple of days after that," Rodgers reported ahead of tonight's match. "It wasn't serious, just a little nick on his hamstring but apart from that everyone else is fit and some players have got some game time and some extra work in. Their condition is better, even though it's only a week on from the last game against Gomel, and that will stand them in good stead."
