In the coming days there will likely be more reason for annoyance than celebration amongst Liverpool fans as various international sides reveal their squads ahead of the slate of international friendlies set to take place on August 15th, a ridiculous three days before the kickoff of the new Premier League season. For now, though, there's at least one bit of good news in 17-year-old right back Ryan McLaughlin being called up to the senior Northern Ireland side. If he makes an appearance, it will be the promising youngster's first senior cap for his country. Northern Ireland take on Finland from Windsor Park Stadium next Wednesday at 7:45PM BST. Amongst other Liverpool players likely to be involved in matches that day, Charlie Adam has already been called up for Scotland as they prepare to host Australia.
