Which isn't really all that shocking, I suppose, but it hasn't prevented (or helped) speculation about what it means for the possible exit of both. They're out along with Doni and Nathan Eccleston; the exclusion of Suso will carry most of the conversation given his tweet from the other day that rang of frustration at once again being with the reserves, and I suppose with the other youngsters involved--Jordan Lussey, Jakub Sokolik, Jack Dunn, etc. all made it--he's got a point, albeit a slightly pouty one.
This doesn't mean too much in the scheme of things, I don't think, as there's an opportunity to reshuffle the names included if Liverpool progresses prior to each of the next two rounds and there's at least a passing explanation for both of the major names (Bellamy with Great Britain, Suso with Spain at the U19s). Things could turn out very differently, though, but I'm not convinced it's time to worry just yet. At least about this.
Also, this means Liverpool play an actual match in a little over two days. Oh dear.
