The pending exit of Alberto Aquilani, while not unexpected, isn't necessarily one that leaves everyone in a celebratory mood. For some the cons--lack of actual playing time for Liverpool, high wages, spotty fitness--far outweighed any potential benefits of keeping him around, while others were hopeful that this was the year that he finally found a spot in the squad under a manager whose style of play appeared to be a solid fit.
But the Italian midfielder probably wasn't heading up the list of players that Liverpool most need to be rid of--it might have been the case for a handful, but for others there's likely a few other names that figure into the discussion of players that the club should part ways with. There's a range of reasons surrounding any one player, ranging from lack of actual skill to high wages to niggling two pack a day habit to having a stupid face. All valid.
When it comes down to it, though, who's the player that you feel like, if the option were immediately available and feasible and doable other -bles, Liverpool most need to end their relationship with? I'm all for hating stupid faces--and frequently do--but there's also some very good reasons for selling players that currently call themselves as Liverpool players. We're interested to see what folks think, and there'll obviously be a chance to chime in if you don't find the player of your choice (or, you know, not-choice or whatever) listed.
