QPR Eyeing Bellamy
More than any other transfer window in recent memory, this summer has seen a seemingly endless string of owners and managers happy to talk about who they're chasing. The latest man to the party is QPR chairman Amit Bhatia, who recently discussed manager Mark Hughes' interest in Liverpool's Craig Bellamy amongst other unnamed targets. "Mark likes to have a long list of players," said the chairman, "so we'll see what happens. We've been a fan of Craig Bellamy for the last few years, and his is definitely a name that has been mentioned, but he's not the only name that we have discussed for that position so we have a few options. Whoever Mark settles on, we will do our best to support him." Bellamy may not be their only possible target, but for now he's the one they've named, and just in time to kick off a fresh round of rumours about the Welsh attacker when links to Cardiff had finally started to cool.
