From what I've read about this, the six part documentary seems more of a pilot test for a reality tv show based on Liverpool FC. Whether you're a fan of reality tv or not, if you're a Liverpool fan you'll most likely love the idea of having more Liverpool content to consume. At the same time, yes its more evidence that the greedy capitalist Americans are milking LFC for all they can. Or its a genius technique of promoting LFC to thousands of Americans who are somewhat new to football and could easily latch onto LFC after getting a taste of the history of the club and the passion of its supporters. The passion of BR as well, as watching the trailer its clear he himself is a genius at fostering that spirit. Good stuff.
