"If Suarez keeps on making headlines out of it, it’s not going to go away," commented the Manchester United manager, who went out of his way to condemn Luis Suarez as a "disgrace" after the meeting at Old Trafford in February.
"I wasn’t surprised at Kenny leaving. I think that the Suarez incident, [Liverpool owner] John Henry has obviously looked at that and felt it wasn’t handled in the right way. It certainly wasn’t a nice thing to happen, you know. I’m not sure, but I think that it [Suarez affair] must have been part of it. It must have been part of it."
