While Captain Fantastic was being horribly misused against Denmark and being subbed out, Xabi Alonso was being subbed in and making waves.
Seriously, let's not sell the guy. He's beaming with confidence right now and if he gets a start this Saturday, I think he's going to come up with a solid performance. As for the England squad, it's still McClaren's team with McClaren's captain, soon to follow in McClaren's footsteps.
